February 2026 Updates
Silent Horizons 2 - Update 1.13
-
Added support for the latest ENB features:
- LOD shadows are enabled by default
- Volumetric fog (mountain fog) receive shadows now and derive their lighting/color from the rest of the scene
-
Fixed overly bright sky in certain overcast/rainy weathers
-
Vastly improved NAT sky colors across the board
-
Improved cloud handling for overcast, fog and rainy weathers
-
Improved fog roll off and color for most weathers to fix instances of “weirdly colored” fog
-
Fixed and improved dynamic snowcover filtering
KreatE - Update 1.5
This version includes major change to the preset system and editor. Make sure to report problems if preset upgrading causes issues!
-
Completely reworked FormID handling by replacing it with a “form symbol” system:
- Proper handling of light plugins even if they added new forms
- Each form symbol (and therefore config) now has an associated plugin, allowing for ID clash resolving when paired with optional configs
- All old presets will get automatically converted to the new form system when first loading, adding symbol properties that start with the plugins file name. These will be used instead of the old ID going forward
-
Weathers can now be bulk-managed/added with a single button. This saves all currently loaded and unmanaged weathers to the active preset
-
Color matrix columns can now be dragged and dropped between weathers
-
The main menu is now shown as soon as the GUI is opened
-
All main menu groups (i.e. weather, time control, lighting, etc.) can now be detached and moved into their own separate window. The button is located in the top right below the X.
- This means you can re-arrange the entire menu however you see fit (including docking). The last UI state is also fully remembered even after a restart.
-
KreatE now automatically makes backups of your preset before doing an upgrade. Making it easier to do a roll back in case of a problem
ENB Extender - Update 1.4.3
- Fixed a rare bug that caused technique bindings to not get updated reliably on game start
